This mixing and serving bowl is finished with a speckled white glaze inside and outside. The bottom has been glazed a speckled, neutral orange. This bowl would be excellent for serving salads and pastas or serving as a fruit bowl or mixing batters and doughs. It, also, heats up well in the oven to keep food warm while being served.
This bowl is thrown on the wheel using a buff stoneware. It is 7.5 inches in diameter and 4.5 inches tall and will hold approximately 6 cups (1.5 liters or quarts). The foot is sanded so that it is smooth to the touch.
Use and care instructions: Food, dishwasher, and microwave safe. Handwashing is recommended as it reduces the wear and tear on the pot and glaze.
