This long platter is stamped with a fine alternating, angled line pattern on the face and a clamshell pattern on the rim. It has been glazed in a speckled, neutral orange. Blue color was added to the handles to emphasize the striped pattern. It is an excellent size for serving vegetables, breads, finger sandwiches, small desserts, and hors d'oeuvres.
It is handbuilt from a slab (flat piece of clay) and. The body has been stamped to add texture, contrast, and pattern where the glaze breaks. All of the stamps are handmade by me and unique. The clay body is a red stoneware.
The foot is sanded so that it is smooth to the touch.
This platter is 12.75 inches long, 6.5 inches wide, and 0.75 inches tall.

Use and care instructions: Food, dishwasher, and microwave safe. Handwashing is recommended as it reduces the wear and tear on the pot and glaze.
