This is a rectangular plate and has been finished in a soft, medium brown glaze. The glaze breaks black over edges and has red speckles in some areas. This is a great plate for toast, snacks, biscuits, cookies, and small meals. Also excellent as a small platter.
It is handbuilt from a slab (flat piece of clay). The body has been stamped to add texture, contrast, and pattern where the glaze breaks. All of the stamps are handmade by me and unique. The clay body is made from a red stoneware.
The foot is sanded so that it is smooth to the touch.
This plate is 9 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 0.5 inches tall.

Use and care instructions: Food, dishwasher, and microwave safe. Handwashing is recommended as it reduces the wear and tear on the pot and glaze.
