This is a small, handbuilt porcelain dish. It has been glazed with a transparent gray. The stripes were carved and a pink inlay added. Manganese was rolled into the porcelain in order to create a speckled effect. The bottom was left softly rounded so that has a small gentle rock. This dish is great for soap, trinkets, and serving small somethings.
The foot is sanded so that it is smooth to the touch.
It is handbuilt from a slabs. The body has been carved to add visual interest. The clay body is porcelain and is somewhat translucent when held up to light.
This dish is 5 inches long, 3.75 inches wide, and 1 inch tall.
Use and care instructions: Food, dishwasher, and microwave safe.
Handwashing is recommended as it reduces the wear and tear on the pot and glaze.
