This large bowl is finished with a warm white glaze that breaks a soft iron red over edges. It is a great piece to mix batters and doughs, to serve warm food or salads, and to serve as a fruit bowl. This bowl is about 4 inches tall by 8 inches in diameter and comfortably holds 48 oz. or 6 cups.
The foot is sanded so that it is smooth to the touch.
This bowl is thrown on the wheel using a red stoneware.
Use and care instructions: Food, dishwasher, and microwave safe. Handwashing is recommended as it reduces the wear and tear on the pot and glaze.
